Well, thenÉ.who determines the Top 8 deals? Good question. You do. Yep! No "pay to play" goes on here. The Top 8 deals are comprised of a complex algorithm (not really but it sounds cool) of coupon ratings, clicks, views, etc. Basically, it's a popularity contest where users vote for their favorite local shops, restaurants, spas, dry cleaners, hair salons, nail salons, doggy day care, kitty day care, ice cream parlors, you get the idea with the best deals.

On August 8th, we'll be launching a pilot version of our local coupon service in four neighborhoods of Manhattan: the East Village, Lower East Side, Greenwich Village, and Union Square. Although we do have plans to expand into more neighborhoods, we really just want to focus and keep it exclusive to these neighborhoods for now.
